About Us

The Butts County Pregnancy Center is a non-profit 501(c)(3), faith-based organization. The pregnancy center work started in Jackson in 2006. We became a medical clinic in 2016 after opening our current location @ 153 Dempsey Avenue

OUR MISSION

We are a Christ-centered ministry designed to inspire and equip women and men to make life-affirming choices about pregnancy, parenting, and sexual integrity that lead them to hope.

Our clinic, Butts County Pregnancy Center, is not an OB/GYN office that provides prenatal care and delivery of a baby (child birth). We do not provide birth control, but do provide information about it. We do not provide fertility testing or DNA testing.

We do not perform abortions and we do not refer our patients for abortion services. We do provide current information on medical and surgical abortion as the pregnant woman is considering options.

For those who are considering making adoption plans, we arrange a connection with individuals who sit down with the pregnant person and others at the patient’s request to discuss open and closed adoption services available.

We develop a close professional relationship with those we serve and assess each situation carefully to support the patient’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs during the challenges of an unplanned pregnancy, those of parenthood, or in making an adoption plan. During the pregnancy, we teach classes on all aspects of pregnancy, including the mother’s self-care and ways to safeguard their growing baby, prenatal care, labor and delivery, postpartum self-care for the mother, and parenting. Those classes are associated with our “Resource Store” onsite where the pregnant woman can access free items for their unborn and then newly born baby. All patients have access to a nationally certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner at each visit to check in on how things are going and to answer questions.
